*If you don't know how to create a Metamask Wallet, read the article "How do I create a Metamask Wallet?" before proceeding. The step by step guide is going to be browser focused, but similar steps can be done in the app.
Once you have created your Metamask Wallet, it's important to add MATIC to complete the MINT process.
Step 1: Add Network
Access to your Metamask Wallet via the browser extension or your app. You can see it's on the "Ethereum Mainnet" we want to be on Polygon to have MATIC on the top right corner. Click the drop-down and select "Add Network".
Step 2: Add the right information and click "Save"
Network Name: Polygon
Network RPC URL: https://polygon-rpc.com
Chain ID: 137
Currency Symbol: MATIC
Block Explorer URL (Optional): https://polygonscan.com
Step 3: Add Matic via "MoonPay".
Choose your preferred method. In this tutorial we use "MoonPay", but there are multiple ways of doing this.
Step 4: Select the amount in your local currency.
Chose your desired amount (higher than a certain amount) and then click "Continue"
Step 5: Click on email and add your email account and Click "Continue"
Your email is needed to verify the transaction later.
Step 6: Enter details and verify your identity.
If you are not an active user of MoonPay you will need to validate your identity.
